When they invited me to create a piece back in the spring, I was delighted. So you can imagine how excited I am to have my Merry Merry Postcard in such a place of honor!
One of the things that I loved most about working on this is that the magazine gave me an "idea board" for the issue I was designing for. It showed colors that they wanted to use (pastels with red!), and photos of the kind of feeling they were going for (vintage holiday!). The colors were wonderful to work with, especially given that it was spring time when I was stitching this up!

(I think this means it's time to start thinking about Christmas stitching, crafting, and creating!
